COVID-19 Precautions

The BRICC is implementing new processes and procedures at our facility during COVID-19. These procedures are to ensure and assure our visitors’ health and safety is of utmost importance as we continue to provide collaborative space and services.

Visitor Requirements:

  • If you are experiencing COVID-19 symptoms, please stay home. Please refer to CDC guidelines for symptoms and timelines for when you can end home isolation. 

  • All visitors are required to sign in upon entry to the facility. This will include a signed acknowledgement to certify you are not experiencing any COVID-19 symptoms.

  • All visitors are required to wear masks or face coverings for facility entry and during the duration of your visit. Please arrive to the building wearing your mask.

  • Please continue to wash and sanitize your hands frequently and practice 6-foot physical distancing with other visitors.

  • Please dispose of your trash in the receptacles around the space.

Facility Procedures:

  • Traffic through our facility will be one-way only. Directional signs will be posted for guidance.

  • Our total facility capacity will be limited. Specific room capacities will depend on set-up requirements. Please contact us for questions about this.

  • The building is currently encouraging a 2-person limit in the elevator. There are 5 total elevators available, we appreciate your patience and cooperation with this guidance.

  • Hand sanitizer stations will be available throughout the facility for your use.

  • Nanoseptic (continuously self-cleaning) coverings will be applied to doorknobs, touch screens, and other high-traffic areas where possible.

  • The facility will be professionally sanitized weekly and more immediately after gatherings larger than 25 people.

  • Cleaning and sanitizing will be completed by our staff throughout the day in high-traffic areas, to include the café and phone rooms.

We will continue to refer to Virginia and CDC guidelines and adjust our procedures accordingly. If you have a suggestion, question, or concern, please do not hesitate to contact us . Your health and safety remain our main priority.
